game opens minimized and crashes as soon the first sound plays.
i bet it´s an openAL issue/conflict
And it seems i was right. Nation Red probably does not install the openAL driver by itself, at least it does not trigger a PC restart wich is required to the driver to get to work!
At best download OpenAL yourself here (thanks to Freyar) and make a restart afterwards. That should solve the problem!
